Driffield School Sixth Form

Driffield Sixth Form is a vibrant learning community of approximately 200 students, which offers a wide range of A levels and Level 3 courses, with up to 27 subjects available to offer a breadth of choice to our students. Students can study three or four A Levels and other academic qualifications such as the EPQ are also offered. A diverse enrichment programme deepens student’s experience. One to one, bespoke support for university and apprenticeship applications ensures student destinations are an outstanding strength of the Sixth Form.

Why Choose Driffield School Sixth Form?

  1. The Sixth Form has a strong Student union which is led by an elected student body. They organise social events and are an important voice for student well-being.
  2. The Sixth Form area is separate from the rest of the school providing the social hub of the Common Room and the modern Study Centre with fast and up to date ICT facilities.
  3. The Sixth Form café remains open throughout the day for students who want to relax, make use of the free Wi-Fi and catch up with friends.
  4. Exceptional pastoral support is always on hand to help students manage their busy lives in order for them to reach their full potential. A high emphasis is placed on personalised support from teachers who take the time to get to know each student as an individual, due to our relatively small class sizes.
  5. Bespoke 1:1 careers advice and guidance is our priority and this results in over 90% of students reaching their first choice destination, with over double the national average accessing Russell Group universities.
