North Lindsey College

North Lindsey College is the local FE provider for skills-led education and training. We are nothing like school or other colleges, in that we deliver training to our students that meets the needs of industry, alongside providing qualifications that enable our students to progress to university, an apprenticeships or straight into their chosen sector.

In 2020 we were the only college in the region selected to be a WorldSkills UK Centre of Excellence, we are also winner of the best further education college for two years in a row at the WhatUni? Student Choice Awards.

Why Choose North Lindsey College?

  1. North Lindsey College is the fifth largest college provider of apprenticeships in the country, working with large employers such as Siemens Gamesa, British Steel, Jack Tighe, CATCH, Airco and many more.
  2. North Lindsey College is the only college in the region selected to be a WorldSkills UK Centre of Excellence.
  3. We work hard to offer our students unique additional learning opportunities. We are the only college in the region to run its own skydiving club – NLC Hawks. We also offer a glider club experience, we are duel career accredited TASS supporting talented athletes and we are also a Sport England college.
  4. Our students can expect to study and gain experience in industry-standard workshops, focused on helping them gain hands-on experience in their area of interest.
  5. Over the past four years North Lindsey College has delivered the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, developing our students’ skills and confidence outside of the classroom.
